Host to 80 gorgeous stained glass windows, a Moorish copper dome, and more than 500 artifacts and photos depicting the Florida Jewish experience since 1763, this magnificent museum is a Miami Beach must-see. The museum's structure was formerly an Art Deco Orthodox synagogue, and the museum itself was developed from a statewide grassroots project whose aim was to retrieve material attestation of Jewish life in Florida since 1763. The collection has grown to over 100,000 items including the restored 1936 synagogue as well as a restored 1929 synagogue.
