MUSIC AND ROCK CONCERTS

The American Airlines Arena, home to the NBA's Miami Heat is located right in downtown Miami and has played host to some of the day's biggest and most well known musicians and performances. Mega-stars such as Madonna, Shakira, Queen, Tina Turner, and Kanye West have performed at the Arena, which has also hosted hugely popular events such as the MTV Video Music Awards, American Idol auditions, and the Ultimate Fighting Championships. The AA Arena also contains the Waterfront Theater - Florida's largest theater, which is not only used for concerts but also family, Broadway, and other stage shows.
