Showcased in a converted 45,000-square-foot former D.E.A. warehouse that was used for confiscated goods, the RFC is one of the world's paramount treasuries of contemporary art. Since its premier to the public in 1996, the collection has featured rotating exhibitions from such noteworthy artists as Marlene Dumas, Maurizio Cattelan, Keith Haring, David Hammons, and many, many more. The family's eclectic collection dates from the 1960's to the present. It's 27 galleries, a lecture and film theater, a research library featuring over 30,00 volumes, a media room, gift shop, and bookstore and sculpture garden are just part of its allure.
